The large, pure white, single flowers open flat with widely spreading stamens in the typical Higo form. Occasionally, some flowers are anemone form. The rate of growth is rather slow, and the habit is somewhat spreading. The first flowers appear in the autumn with the C. sasanqua cultivars and continue for much of the bloom season.
