
Camellia japonica 'Cup of Beauty' (US)
Between 1840 and 1940, Magnolia Plantation and Gardens introduced approximately 150 Camellia cultivars; this is one of them! (There is a Chinese cultivar of the same name that has white, formal double flowers.) Even when fully open, these brilliantly colored, showy flowers maintain a graceful tea-cup shape.Â
