Camellia japonica 'Duchesse d'Orleans'
This stunning formal double first appeared in Parisian nursery catalogs in 1839! White petals have the slightest pink tint and are perfectly overlapped. Stripes are typically quite narrow but can be wider and range from pale to carmine red depending on the season. This cultivar is still quite new to us - we'll have a photo for you soon!
