Sequoia sempervirens 'Atlanta'

  • $45.00

We are not sure where this cultivar of the Coastal Redwood originated, but it has been an impressive specimen in the garden. It develops a leader at a very young age, as some of our 2 year old cuttings already have them. The plant in our entryway is under 10 years old, and has already grown to over 20' tall. This variety also has great cold tolerance. The blue-green needles are short and densely arranged. Overall this is a great specimen and we highly recommend this cultivar to anyone interested in redwoods. Don't let the “ultimate height” scare you... a reasonable lifetime size is 60' tall x 50' wide. [Zones 7-9]
