Known as the Florida Yew, this endangered conifer enjoys protected status in the wild.  This evergreen shrub or small tree typically only grows to 15’ tall in cultivation.  Thin bark is scaly and purple-brown, and branches are spreading. The shoots are green at first, becoming brown after three or four years. It grows slowly, and prefers slightly acidic soil and partial shade. [15’T X 10’W, Zones 7-10]
