Ulmus parvifolia 'Seiju', Small Leaf Lacebark Elm
This selection of the Chinese Elm has tiny leaves, clustered along the knobby branches, which make this a true landscape specimen. Often used for Bonsai, this small tree grows to 8-12' tall by a similar width, depending upon pruning practices. The leaves turn a brilliant yellow in the fall, and are so small they disappear in the wind, causing no fall clean-up. Also known by cultivar name 'Seiryu'. [12' x 12', Zones 6-9]
USDA regulations strictly prohibit shipment of Ulmus west of the Rocky Mountains.
