Weigela florida 'Rubidor'
This incredibly showy, deciduous shrub features clusters of tubular, bright magenta flowers, contrasting the brilliant chartreuse foliage. Unlike most Weigela, this superior selection blooms first in mid spring, and sets a second flush of flowers in late summer, which are favored by hummingbirds and butterflies. This makes an outstanding large shrub for sun to part shade. In the hot southeast summer we recommend late day shade and some additional water to keep the foliage looking fresh. [8'T x 8'W, Zones 4-8]
