Diospyros kaki 'Fuyu' (Grafted)

This grafted persimmon is a very common fruit tree in Asia. It has a rounded, spreading crown with branches that often droop, allowing for easier harvest of ripe fruits. ‘Fuyu’ is a non-astringent variety with fruits about 3” in diameter. It can be  eaten while the fruit is firm like an apple. Left on the tree the orange fruits are very showy in early winter. [25’T X 20’W, Zones 7-10]
