Ilex crenata 'Dwarf Pagoda', Japanese Holly

Tiny, dark, rounded leaves with short internodes deliver an almost Boxwood appearance, but with a dramatic punch.  Irregular branching and upright growth build to a dense, artistic form, rivaling the year-round interest of dwarf conifers.  Growing only 3" per year allows this Holly to keep it's appealing shape, without the incessant maintenance of it's larger, more prickly brethren.
