Camellia japonica 'Lady Vansittart'

  • $35.00

The profuse white, rose-red striped flowers are striking in contrast to the dark glossy-green narrow foliage. The transposons (aka jumping genes) that cause the color streaks are very unstable and will often produce solid rose-red or pink flowers. We can't guarantee what each plant will do, so the best time to buy this lovely Lady is when she's in bloom.  Introduced circa 1887.
