Camellia sinensis 'Dave's Fave'

This cultivar was selected by owner David Parks for it's rounded leaves and short internodes.  Exceptionally dark green leaves have pronounced serrations and remain shiny through maturity.  'Dave's Fave' is a vigorous, well-shaped shrub with woody stalks that makes a fantastic hedge.  A seedling from Chinese seed of unknown origin. This one has survived 3 degrees Fahrenheit without injury. The larger flower produce a small amount of seed.  A Camellia Forest introduction.
