Japanese Plum Yews are wonderful yew look-alikes that are, among other things, highly deer resistant and heat/sun tolerant. This form is broadly upright, perhaps 4'-6' tall in ten years.  This plant simply grows well! [10'T x 6'W, Zones 6-9]
