The "Beautybush" is an easy-to-grow, large, suckering shrub, so site it appropriately. It is extremely vigorous, exceeding 10' x 10' in a few seasons. The spring flush of bell shaped pink flowers is exquisite, and makes it well worth growing. Add drought tolerance and the fact that the deer rarely munch on this plant and you have a plant you can't live without! The new growth can be long and leggy, but the plant responds well to heavy pruning if you choose. Otherwise the habit is upright with pendulous new shoots. [15'T X 12'W, Zones 4-9]
