Also known at the Black Sea Fir, native to Turkey in the mountains of the Black Sea region. Expect a mature height of 50-80 feet with a width of 10 to 15 feet.
Thrives in well-drained and acidic soil with full to partial sun. It can tolerate wetter soils and more heat than other fir species and has become a favorite with Christmas tree growers. Zones 5-8.
