Camellia x 'Buttermint'
This 1997 introduction by Nuccio's Nurseries has us scratching our heads!
A first generation Camellia showing formal double flowers is rare enough on it's own. Add to that the unlikely appearance of recessive genetics (neither of the parent plants are yellow-flowered) producing a clear, pale yellow bloom? That's pure magic.

Bloom size: Miniature, less than 2.5 inches
