This "fall blooming" hybrid from John Davies can bloom as early as August and also has a long bloom period. With its upright and vigorous growth habit and bright pink semi-double flowers it would make an excellent hedge or specimen plant. We think it is a cross between a fraterna and a sasanqua. Zone 7b at least, possibly more cold tolerant than that.
