Camellia sasanqua x oleifera seeds, assorted

These open-pollinated seeds are harvested from the C. sasanqua x C. oleifera hybrids in our gardens, such as 'Autumn Spirit', 'Survivor', and many of Dr. Ackerman's cold-hardy cultivars. 

We can't predict the flowers or shape these second and third generation seeds will produce - you'll have one-of-a-kind Camellias - but keep in mind that many new and exciting cultivars begin as open-pollinated seeds!  Seedlings are reliably more cold-hardy and drought tolerant than rooted cuttings, so these babies will likely do well on the northernmost fringes of Camellia territory.  

Harvested in October, these seeds are ready to ship and will be ready to plant as early as January.
