Diospyros rhombifolia, Diamond-leaf Persimmon

Also known as the Princess Persimmon. Dense foliage on a small, wide-open deciduous tree/shrub.  Great for bonsai!  [Zones 7b-10].

**The 1 and 2 quarts are grown from seed. The sex is not known at this time.**

Growth rate, habit: dense, bushy

Mature size: 6-8 ft tall  and 3 to 4 ft wide

Soil/water: moist

Cold hardiness temperature: 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit (zone 7b and up)

Light: full sun to part shade

Blooms: in spring

Features: native to SE China, small bright orange edible fruits on female plants in fall, deciduous

Special considerations: very adaptable
