Also known as Yunnan Sweetspire. This is an evergreen spreading shrub that produces very long clusters of small flowers. Expect it to reach 10-15 feet high and grow 5-10 feet wide. Prefers part-sun, moist and loose soils woodland soils. It does not like full sun. Good for zones 8-9 and possibly zone 7.
