Also called "False Holly", among many others. Like Osmanthus fragrans, Osmanthus heterophyllus is also in the Olive family and has small fragrant flowers and it is more cold tolerant (to the 0-5 degree Fahrenheit range).
The 'Variegatus' cultivar has variegated, spiny leaves.

Mature size: 10-15ft high and 5-7ft wide or more
