Sinowilsonia henryi is named for two plant explorers, Ernest Wilson (aka "Chinese" Wilson) and Augustine Henry. This member of the witch hazel family has fairly large somewhat fuzzy leaves, inconspicuous flowers and dangling fruits about 2 inches long. I have seen these grown as small trees but also as a spreading shrub.
