Berberis wilsoniae

A compact, semi-evergreen to deciduous species that forms low mounds of tiny sea-green leaves which turn bright colors in fall. In spring bright yellow flowers adorn the branches, followed by an incredible show of coral colored berries in the fall. Being salt-tolerant, this plant is great for coastal gardens and is noted as “deer resistant”. The spines are large, so be careful when handling! [4’T x 6’W, Zones 7-9]
