The Japanese Plum Yew is a tough, stress-resistant conifer that can be grown in full sun to dense shade. Some shade is recommended for places with hot summers. These are seedlings and the growth habit is open and fairly upright. Eventually they will form a small tree. If you get a female you may get tiny plum-like fruits. This is a great deer resistant plant for shady areas.
