Cryptomeria japonica 'Pyramidata'

(zone 6-9)-A rare and interesting selection with very intricate branching and short needles. The habit is upright and open, and as a single specimen it makes a dramatic textural statement. The needles are a pale yellow-green. It is not particularly fast growing, and we are not certain as to its ultimate size. This grows about a foot a year and is three times taller than wide.
