(zone 6-9)- The Leatherwood, a southeast US swamp native, is a tardily deciduous shrub. This variety is a prostrate selection from Graniteville, SC made by Woodlanders Nursery. Growing 4-5' tall by 8-10' wide, this vigorous specimen is adorned with 8” long white flowering racemes. It is very easy to grow, and will tolerant very wet to very dry soil. We recommend sun to part shade for exposure. In late fall the inner most leaves will turn brilliant red, yellow, orange adding striking color to the landscape. [5'T X 10'W]
