The large leathery evergreen leaves make this small tree a unique addition to the garden. It can tolerate full sun to full shade and is in the ivy family. Reportedly deer resistant as well. The leaves on young plants tend to be lobed but older plants have simple leaves and clusters of black fruits. [12'T X 8'W, Zones 7-10]. A very interesting and adaptable specimen. Note that in full sun it will need regular watering.
